Acceptable Use Policy

The ground rules for using Verity: keep it lawful and in good faith, don’t misuse the service, and use AI tools and our materials responsibly.

Working draft. A plain-language draft, not legal advice. It should be reviewed by a qualified professional before it is relied upon. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Summary & scope

This policy applies to everyone who uses the Verity website, tools and services. The idea is simple: use Verity lawfully, in good faith, and in a way that respects other people, their data and their rights.

2. Permitted use

You may use Verity to learn, plan and build your own AI opportunities, and to use our templates, guides and guidance for your own projects, within the licence in our Terms of Service.

3. Prohibited conduct

Don’t use Verity to:

  • Break the law, or help others do so.
  • Infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights.
  • Harass, defame, threaten or harm others, or promote hate or violence.
  • Upload or spread malware, or attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the service.
  • Scrape, harvest or bulk-extract content except as expressly permitted.
  • Misrepresent your identity, or impersonate Verity or anyone else.
  • Use the service to build something clearly designed to deceive, defraud or cause harm.

4. Content & materials

Our content, templates and materials are provided for your own use under your plan. Don’t resell, publish, sublicense or redistribute them, or present them as your own product, without our written permission. What you create using our guidance is yours.

5. Responsible AI use

AI tools are powerful and imperfect. When you act on our guidance, use AI responsibly: respect the terms of the AI tools and data sources you use, don’t process personal or confidential data without a proper basis, review AI output before relying on it, and be transparent where transparency is expected. You are responsible for what you build and ship.

6. Security & integrity

Don’t probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the service, breach security or authentication measures, or interfere with other users’ access. If you discover a security issue, please tell us rather than exploiting it (see §8).

7. Enforcement

If you breach this policy, we may limit, suspend or end your access, remove offending content, and — where appropriate — take further steps permitted by law. We’ll act proportionately and, where reasonable, give notice.

8. Reporting & contact

To report misuse, a security concern, or content that breaches this policy, use the contact page. We take reports seriously and will respond within a reasonable time.
