Privacy Policy

In plain terms: this is a privacy-light site. It sets no non-essential cookies, runs no server that collects your data, and keeps diagnostic answers on your own device.

Working draft. This is a plain-language draft, not legal advice, and some specifics are still being finalized. It should be reviewed by a qualified privacy/legal professional before it is relied upon.

1. Our approach

We try to collect as little as possible. Today this website is essentially a static site: it does not run a server-side account system, and it does not track you across the web. Most of what powers your experience — like the opportunity scan — runs and is stored in your own browser, not on our servers.

2. Who we are & scope

Verity (“we”, “us”) provides AI education, strategy, diagnostic and implementation guidance, and we operate remotely and worldwide. This policy covers this website and the services described on it. Our formal registered entity, business address and a dedicated privacy contact will be stated here before the service is offered commercially.

3. What we collect (and what we don’t)

Information you send us. Our contact and application forms open your own email client (a “mailto” link) with your message pre-filled. When you send it, we receive what you chose to write — typically your name, email address and message. We only get this if you actually send the email.

Information kept on your device. To make features work, we store a few items in your browser’s local storage — including your opportunity-scan answers and application drafts. This stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.

Technical logs. Like any website, requests are served through Cloudflare (our hosting and CDN provider), which may process standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and secure the site, under its own terms.

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookieless, privacy-first tool that reports aggregate traffic (page views, referrers) without setting cookies, storing anything on your device, fingerprinting you or tracking you across sites. It collects no personal data. See our Cookie Policy.

What we don’t do. We don’t set advertising or tracking cookies, we don’t profile you, and we don’t sell your personal data — ever.

4. How we use information

  • To respond to messages and applications you send us.
  • To provide the features you use, such as saving your scan progress on your device.
  • To operate, secure and improve the website.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

If accounts, billing or analytics are added later, this policy will be updated to describe what is collected, the lawful basis for it, and your choices — before those features go live.

5. Cookies & local storage

This site sets no non-essential cookies. The only browser storage it uses is functional local storage on your device. The full inventory and how to clear it are in our Cookie Policy.

6. Sharing & third parties

We don’t sell or rent personal data. We share information only with service providers that help us operate — currently Cloudflare, which hosts this site (Cloudflare Pages) and provides our cookieless Web Analytics, plus a payment processor once billing is live. We only share what each provider needs to perform its function, and we may disclose information where required by law.

7. Retention

Messages you email us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal or accounting requirements. Data stored in your browser stays until you clear it (see §9). Concrete retention periods will be confirmed before launch.

8. International users

We work with people worldwide. If you are in a region with specific data-protection laws (such as the EEA, the UK, or certain US states), you may have additional rights, and any cross-border handling will be carried out under an appropriate safeguard. The applicable framework and transfer mechanism will be confirmed before launch. Nothing here removes rights you have under your local law.

9. Your rights & choices

Because most data lives on your device, you already control much of it:

  • Local data — clear it any time from your browser settings, or by clearing this site’s storage; the opportunity scan also offers a restart.
  • Cookie preferences — manage optional choices from the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.
  • Data you emailed us — you can ask us to access, correct or delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port or object to processing. To exercise any of these, use the contact page.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information under our control and keep the site’s surface small by design. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. Specific safeguards will be described here as backend features are added.

11. Children

The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children. A minimum age will be confirmed before accounts and billing go live.

12. Changes & contact

We’ll update this policy as the service evolves and revise the “last updated” date. For any privacy question or request, use the contact page.
